Founded in 1839, Roswell Presbyterian Church (RPC) is a congregation with deep historic roots and a tradition of putting faith into action. What began as a small family church has evolved over nearly two centuries to become a family of more than 2,500 individuals who are united in Jesus Christ and engaged in over one hundred unique ministries. God has blessed our family of faith through many seasons of both prosperity and hardship, strengthening the bonds of this community at every turn. Our vitality is evident in the facilities we enjoy today, which were built more than 25 years ago through a shared desire to ensure RPC has a spiritual home for generations to come. Today, our congregation is enjoying the fruits of those who have come before. Now is our time to build upon these blessings and make a commitment to RPC’s next generation. We are called to leave a LEGACY in God’s earthly kingdom that honors our past while supporting our future. What will this legacy be?

The LEGACY campaign will support critical and time-sensitive replacements and repairs to ensure our facilities can continue to function safely, efficiently, and comfortably well into the future.
Additional facilities enhancements will be completed as funds allow, which are envisioned to include a new preschool playground, LED lighting conversion, and carpet and flooring repairs.

RPC took on debt to help finance the construction of our new facilities during the previous capital campaign, which is due to be refinanced in February 2025.
LEGACY funds will retire the remaining $3.2 million of debt, enabling RPC to redirect approximately $400,000 each year from debt service to support the people at the heart of RPC’s robust ministries.

Our members, friends, and community partners make RPC a uniquely vibrant faith community that cannot be replicated anywhere else. The LEGACY campaign will enable RPC to invest in our partners in three distinct areas:
Digital Ministry
The way that people worship and engage in their faith is evolving. This is evident at RPC, where more than 40 percent of our congregation now worships virtually. Campaign funds will support new digital ministry platforms to keep current members engaged, deepen work with mission partners, and create new relationships with members and partners who align with our mission.
Fellows Program
RPC is a ripe training ground for emerging discipleship leaders. The campaign will support a long-envisioned Fellows Program designed to train faith leaders who will use their skills to serve the larger church.
Mission Partners
Our mission partners are doing transformative work in our community and around the world. Legacy funds will enable RPC to invest up to $1,000,000 directly with our mission partners, who will submit proposals to our Mission Outreach Council for funds.
