Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have to be a member of Roswell Presbyterian Church (RPC) to enroll in the Preschool?

Church membership is not required to enroll.

RPC is a wonderful church family and welcomes any new visitors!

How does the registration process occur?

Currently enrolled students get first preference; then church members who are not currently enrolled; then we open to the public through a lottery.

Registration Timeline

  • Currently enrolled families may register starting on January 28, 2026.

  • Church members and previously enrolled families may register starting on January 30, 2026.

  • The general public may register starting on February 2, 2026.

How to Register
1. Access Our School Hangout and create an account HERE.
2. Once your account is approved, log in and check the “Available for Signup” section and choose the class for which you would like to register by clicking on it and then selecting “Sign Up”. Follow the prompts to complete your selection. REMEMBER TO ENTER YOUR DISCOUNT CODE IF YOU ARE A RETURNING FAMILY OR CHURCH MEMBER. If your family is new to RPP, your account may not be authorized until the appropriate registration date. Authorizations will be completed by 9:00am the morning of your registration.
3. If the class you wish to join is full, please add your child to the waitlist for that class (there is no cost associated with waitlisting). If you have a second choice, please go ahead and register for that class if spots are available to make sure you get a spot. Waitlists will help inform us of any changes we need to make to class offerings. Please note that placement with a specific teacher is NOT guaranteed. Teacher assignments will be completed in August.
4. Once your child is enrolled, please upload a current immunization form to their account.

If you have any trouble with Our School Hangout or registration, please email Abby in the preschool office at preschooloffice@roswellpres.org and she will help you!

Does my child have to be potty trained to be in a 2's class?

No, they have to be potty trained to be in a 3-year-old class. More details in the Parent Handbook.

What is your sick policy?

We know parents make good "judgment calls" when it comes to knowing whether their child is well enough to go to school. For more specifics and suggestions, please see the Parent Handbook.

Do you offer opportunities to volunteer in the classroom?

We have a Parent Auxiliary, which is very active with committees to help with specials throughout the year (i.e., Scholastic Book Fair, Family Fellowship Dinner, etc.). There are opportunities to be the "art mom/dad". Most teachers ask parents to sign-up to come and be a "mystery reader", and then, of course, parents sign-up to be a room parent and participate in class parties.

Can I bring my child early if I have an appointment I need to get to?

The Preschool hours are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the teachers are here earlier preparing, attending meetings, etc. So unfortunately, we cannot allow early drop-off. We encourage the parents to ask a favor of a friend to help them in these types of situations.
