Study Groups

Sunday Morning Classes

These small to medium-sized groups meet weekly on Sunday mornings with most meeting at 9:30 a.m. at RPC.

Weekday Bible Studies

These groups can range from small to large. Some groups choose a book of the Bible and go through verse by verse while others are curriculum-based. We have women’s groups, men’s groups, a young adult group and many more. Most groups meet at the church, but a few meet in members’ homes or over Zoom.

Term Studies

These small groups meet for a specific period of time, corresponding to a specific curriculum. Examples include our Lenten study groups and racial justice book groups.

Presbyterian Women Circles

These groups are a part of RPC’s Presbyterian Women Ministry. Each circle typically meets once a month for Bible study, fellowship, mission work, and prayer.

Connect Groups

Fellowship Groups

These small groups primarily get together for fellowship. Some also come together over a meal or to do a service project. Examples include the RPC Book Club, Social Service Sundays, and our new Food & Fellowship groups (coming soon).

Fitness Groups

These groups are instructor-led fitness classes. We offer two classes: yoga and Fitness for Life, a fitness group especially for ages 50+. Both classes will be meeting over Zoom.

Mission Groups

Mission Groups

These groups range in size. Their primary purpose for gathering is to serve together towards a specific mission. Examples include Prayers and Squares, Prayer Shawl Ministry, and the Intercessory Prayer Group.

How are groups meeting?

At this time our groups are meeting in a variety of ways. Some are meeting in person, some are meeting virtually, and some are doing a hybrid of the two.

Community Groups
Facebook Group

The Community Groups Facebook group is for anyone attending Roswell Presbyterian Church who would like to participate in an on-line discussion and digital fellowship. Our hope is that this space will allow our community to come together through thoughtful discussion, centered on Christ, just as our small groups would do.
